Trish Davies, MBA, AIF, CPFA

Trish Davies is a Financial Advisor and an approved 3(21) fiduciary advisor for qualified group retirement plans through LPL Financial. Her services include plan investment selection, Qualified Default Investment Allocation (QDIA) selection, service provider selection assistance, and customized, personal participant education.

Trish holds Series 7, 63, and 66 securities licenses and is a Registered Representative with LPL Financial and an Investment Advisor Representative with the Maryland Financial Group. Previously, Trish was a Registered Representative and Investment Advisor Representative of Cetera Advisors. She also holds Maryland and Virginia Health and Life Insurances licenses, and received the retirement plan specific designations Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) issued by Fi360 and Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA, formerly the QPFC: Qualified Plan Financial Consultant) issued by the National Association of Plan Advisors, of which she is also a member.

In addition to her work as a plan advisor, Trish is a member of We | Inspire | Promote | Network (formerly Women in Pension Networks) where she volunteers on the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion committee, helping to plan quarterly and annual events to bring diversity and awareness to the pension industry.

Trish spent several years in human resources before attending graduate school with the goal of becoming an investment advisor to qualified employer-sponsored retirement plans. During her time in HR, Trish served in an internal benefits administration role to several plans, giving her unique insight into the needs of the plan sponsors she now works with as an advisor.

Trish took over the operations of Almacy Investments in 2018 following the untimely death of her stepfather, John Almacy. She keeps the business name, Almacy Investments, to honor her family.

Trish lives in Frederick, Maryland with her husband, Tom, son, Theodore, and their dog, Samantha. Outside of the office she enjoys reading, knitting, and going to art exhibitions.
